Make it two weeks in a row now that Chris Storm has had an early night in GCW, but unlike last week there will be no punishment handed down to the Rock Superstar. Despite early speculations that Chris Storm would be facing maximum fines along with a suspension for an unauthorized leave during a taping; that no longer looks to be the case.

The fact that Chris Storm is booked for a match is proof that he will not be suspended and no word has come out about any further fines. On WorldWide 132, Chris Storm was fined the maximum $50,000 for leaving early without approval. Midway through the show Chris Storm was seen on tape leaving the building after a quick interview with resident reporter, Sally Ford.

The feeling backstage is mixed, with a number of wrestlers and staff upset that Chris Storm will not be punished.

"You don't leave before last bell, everyone knows that, Chris Storm knows that. If he wasn't in the main event at Rampage, he would have been suspended for sure. AXEL Action or Frost wouldn't have been shown the same leniency, I can promise that" one backstage source said about the situation.

Others had different opinions, "he wanted to be suspended. He just about said as much himself. I'm not surprised Johnny didn't give him what he wanted. Look at his booking assignment, going from a possible night off to Shaman is a tough pill to take. The Commish knows what he's doing."

Regardless, the power play between Chris Storm and the Commissioner Garbage Bag Johnny does not look to be letting up any. Some even suspended that Storm may be suspended after Rampage, but nothing has been confirmed.
