GCW Writing Guide

Ancillary Characters

For the sake of creating a complete universe, this is a list of all the various people who travel with GCW as it tours the world. For the most part these characters will never come up, and really serve no purpose creatively. However, this list exists for everyone to reference if they're looking to interact with some of GCW's lesser known employees. None of these characters is intended to serve a specific function, but are available if you think of a creative purpose for them.

Caldera Enterprises, Incorporated VIPs

CEi is the parent company of GCW. Steven Caldera is the founder, President and CEO of CEi. CEi is not a publicly traded company; Caldera's power is absolute. There are, however, a few contributing higher-ups:

Chief Financial Officer Pete Lyman The head money man of CEi. He's the second CFO of CEi, and has held the job since December 2007.

Don Spielman Head of CEi's New York office. The New York office is the home base for CEi's record label and international affairs.

Harvey White Head of CEi's Los Angeles offive. The LA office houses CEi's movie production and distribution interests and the CEi talent agency.

Sarah Teague Head of CEi's Houston office. We're not really sure what they're up to down there.

Steven Caldera still personally heads the Columbus office, which is home base for GCW and wrestling related operations. Rumored to be heading to Houston.

Global Championship Wrestling Touring Management

These people are on the road with GCW, but are not on-air personalities. They are primarily concerned with the physical operations of the company; President Caldera and Commissioner Zenith are in charge of what happens on screen.

Production Manager Dwight Zellner This is the guy who pushes all the buttons in the back. He is in charge of the pyrotechnics, entrance videos and theme music, lighting effects and television broadcast. One of the best in the business at only 36 years old. Wears glasses and is always clad in GCW gear on show day.

Head Road Agent Phil 'The Drill' Vasher A hard-ass 35 year veteran of wrestling, The Drill keeps everyone in line backstage. Still in decent shape and riddled with the scars and tattoos that come with three-plus decades in the business, The Drill is the law on the tour before and after shows. During shows he's usually found nearby a bottle of Jack Daniels.
